Job Responsibilities:

- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks while monitoring employee productivity and provide constructive feedback/coaching when required.
- Maintain timekeeping for employee requests e.g., for sick time, personal leave, overtime.
- Serve as a link between team members and upper management, motivate team members and create strategies to boost productivity.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing VG standards, while adhering to legal/Safety regulations and lean manufacturing 6S methodologies
- Work directly with counterparts from all departments to ensure seamless support.
- Maintain accurate inventory, performing cycle counting, physical inventory of stock, and investigate discrepancies over a threshold level.
- Perform accurate transactions in ERP system for issuing materials to appropriate cost centers / projects & ensuring proper authorization is received.
- Responsible for inbound receiving. Accurately receive all inbound deliveries into ERP System and maintain records of all receipts in compliance with TSC requirements. Verify all incoming documentation and applicable certifications are correct. Responsible for timely delivery of all packages that include stock and non-stock items.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance, Compliance, Purchasing, Safety and other stakeholders, as required.
- Work cohesively with Supply Chain and Program personnel to ensure on-time delivery of material and products to meet business partner needs.
- Accurately pick/kit material components supporting work order requests. Responsible for on-time delivery of all kits & material components to internal & external locations.
- Identify and track material shortages in advance of maintenance work orders and utilize substitute components as directed. Ensure materials are counted back accurately when returned to stock, scrap is charged to the production order.
- Interview, hire, train and supervise materials personnel.
- Assure FIFO and material identification are maintained.
- Properly identify and locate all parts according to established procedures.
- Ensure team members perform accurate transactions in ERP system for issuing materials to appropriate cost center projects & ensuring proper authorization is received for high-cost materials
- Verify all incoming documentation and applicable certifications are correct.
- Responsible for timely delivery of all packages that include stock and non-stock items. Interact with internal stakeholders to resolve errors and inconsistencies in shipment files.
- Work cohesively with Procurement and Production Control personnel to ensure on-time delivery of material and products to meet customer needs.
- On-going improvement of processes for shipping, receiving, kitting, and cycle counting
Required Skills and Experience
Education & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in an applicable environment
- High School Diploma and the equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Preferred Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, or technical field
- APICS or equivalent certifications is a plus.
Job Complexity:
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Strong math skills required. Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to problem solve and prioritize, while remaining focused on details. Basic computer skills required.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing transportation and proper storage of supplies and materials.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and safety practices related to the use and operation of equipment, such as motor vehicles and forklifts and manlifts.
- Software Knowledge: Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Oracle, 3DX.
Supervision:
- Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
- Work is completed within a manufacturing environment. There may be periodic exposure to moderate temperature changes. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $78,500.00–$119,750.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
