Virging Galactic is looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Communications & Govt Affairs team. The core responsibilities of the role include the following, although are not limited to:

  • Supporting 2-3 executives
  • Organize internal and external meetings and conferences of different types, which may include
    • Setting the agenda
    • Daily meeting schedules
    • Secure site and meeting details
    • Obtaining security clearance for visitors
    • Event planning onsite and offsite
  • Support travel and expense reports, purchase requests and other administrative duties.
    • National and International travel will be required for the role
    • Assist with offsite conferences and company events
  • Manage and maintain identified executives’ schedule as well as calendar.
    • Attend meetings, as directed, take meeting notes and distribute action items
    • Build out working tasks lists
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality in discussing organizational matters.
  • Strong teaming and collaboration skills that foster office unity and collaboration
  • Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to copying, faxing, mailing and filing.
    • Teams channels and filing for contracts, Flight documentation and intenal information
  • Assists in other duties as needed and directed.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Oracle ERP and OneNote.
  • Experience supporting 2 – 3 executives
  • Capable of handling effectively a diverse set of daily work priorities to coordinate with multiple resources and multi-task in a fast paced environment that may often have competing priorities with minimal assistance.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to articulate requirements/actions/needs in a professional tone and attitude; exchange information to facilitate positive and efficient work processes and results (including written correspondence).
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with other functional areas to best support mutual objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze work flow/processes in order to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and interact with staff at varying levels of experience.

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $67,500.00–$97,950.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
