Job Description

Duties

  • Facilitates strategic planning, coordination, and management of center events and employee engagement activities.
  • Assists in planning and directing center integration across enterprise initiatives, deals with complex issues that involve planning, communicating
    to stakeholders, implementing, and evaluating overall goals, budget, and procurement activities.
  • Serves as organizations point of contact for a variety of administrative functions including budget, logistics, resource coordination and as liaison
    with the center’s support organizations.
  • Provides advice and guidance in support of planning, developing, executing, and managing institutional budgets, action items, and key initiatives
    and activities.
  • Conducts continuous evaluation and analysis of current processes to promote innovation, efficiencies, and enhanced workflows.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:

  • Planning, coordinating and executing special events or projects with multiple tasks, anticipating and mitigating issues
  • Managing day -to-day operations of a business unit or activity to accomplish mission objectives and goals
  • Applying financial, budget or administrative operations and processes to optimize operational and investment decisions
