SUMMARY: Our team is looking for an energetic Manager of Process Excellence with demonstrated experience in business process development, improvement, and oversight. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about customer service and excels at problem solving. The role requires strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster collaborative partnerships with business lines, management, and IT to identify, track, and prioritize pain points and improvement opportunities across various functional areas
  • Utilize strong business acumen skills and organizational knowledge to optimize business processes through: documentation of current processes, analyzing problem areas, designing and testing intended solutions, developing an implementation plan with Technical Leads, and measuring the results post implementation
  • Develop and execute communication and training plans to support successful implementation of changes
  • Serve as liaison and functional expert to assist business areas working to solve complex problems and recommend best-practice solutions to gain efficiencies and improve productivity
  • Assess and manage risks associated with current processes and change initiatives while effectively communicating impacts to management and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Costpoint Administration Team to prioritize ERP minor improvements, system upgrades, and system enhancements to improve functionality and ERP reporting capabilities
  • Develop agenda and focus of Costpoint Change Management Committee by providing updates on key change initiatives, propose prioritization of pending changes, and status implementation of previously approved changes
  • Support data-driven decisions by gathering requirements and assisting in development of reporting tools used by our FP&A and Accounting Teams
  • Ensure Compliance to policies, procedures, and other corporate guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field required
  • 4+ years of professional accounting or financial related experience
  • Prior experience with process ownership or leading cross-functional improvement initiatives required
  • Knowledge of GAAP and DCAA Compliance preferred, but not required
  • Costpoint or other ERP/Accounting systems experience

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements

  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

Physical Requirements

  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
