Summary

As Deputy Chief of Administrative Services, you are responsible for supporting the Chief of Administrative Services in all aspects of supervising and managing a large organization providing exceptional administrative services in support of Center and Agency priorities. The organization provides administrative officer and administrative assistant services to Center management, provides business functions including small purchases, manages Exchange operations and provides contract oversight.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify at the GS-14 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Leading and managing change, people and/or work of an organization to achieve a set of goals; Overseeing and evaluating administrative functions to identify/implement process improvements; Advising and participating with senior level officials in the implementation of policies which impact institutional activities and includes stakeholders.
