Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and baking our gourmet Doughnuts.
  • Support decorating efforts by applying icing and decorative elements as directed.
  • Package finished products for display and sale while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food handling regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
  • Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and knives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a culinary or bakery environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques related to food preparation and baking.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 – $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
