Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to oversee our gourmet doughnuts and coffee operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a strong understanding of food safety and service standards. As the Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Supervise daily store operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage and train staff, including interviewing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement new franchise menu items to enhance customer offerings.
  • Ensure high-quality food handling practices are followed at all times.
  • Prepare for special events or banquets as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in cooking or baking as required during peak hours or staff shortages.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, preferably in a bakery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in shift management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy environment.
