Job Description
Concrete Superintendent directly oversees profitable installation of concrete projects by directing, interfacing, coordinating foremen’s and trades as necessary. Responsible for all areas of concrete projects including subcontractors. Responsible for safety, quality, planning, cost, and productivity, while perpetuating the FHP culture. Responsible for high level client relationship through professional conduct. Must have significant slip form experience and understanding of best available techniques to produce high level results.

Concrete Superintendent will possess competency in the following areas to perform his/her role in a safe, high quality and productive manner. - Plans Work with Project Teams

Requirements
- Advanced understanding of production methods, construction processes and supervision of people and projects
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good communication, interpersonal, supervisory and planning skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office to include Outlook, Excel & Word
- Heavy Job or similar application for timesheet / field production reporting
- Proficient in the use of mobile device smartphone and/or tablet
- Minimum of two years vertical concrete supervisory experience
Technical Skills:
- Must demonstrate a proven ability to manage
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control
- Ability to manage and supervise large and diverse groups of people
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- OSHA 30 certification required
Technical Knowledge of Formwork and Forming Solutions:
- Highway
- Airports: Runways, Taxiways, Aprons
- Flatwork: Curb, Sidewalks, Slabs on grade
Technical knowledge of Slipform:
- Slipform Concrete Paving: Highway, Airports, Runways, Taxiways, Aprons
- Slip Curb and Barrier
- Slip Form Concrete Barrier Wall
- Conventional Stringline
- Stringless Slipform Operations
- Silos: Vertical continuous slip forming
