What You Will Be Doing:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will support the functionality of essential systems across our facilities. Working under the guidance of the Maintenance & Services Manager, you’ll assist with maintenance tasks across several areas, including HVAC, basic controls, plumbing, and equipment upkeep. This role is based out of Everett, WA and reports directly to our Maintenance & Services Manager.

You Will:

  • Collaborate with the team to inspect and test building systems and equipment, identifying and addressing repair or maintenance needs
  • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, perform routine checks, and ensure safety compliance
  • Help with plumbing installations and repairs, including filter changes, belt replacements, and motor troubleshooting
  • Operate and perform basic maintenance on equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, cranes and portable generators
  • Adapt to evolving tasks, advocate for safety protocols, and occasionally support the Environmental Services team on special projects

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or relevant trade school, preferably with exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with basic troubleshooting and repair tasks, with a demonstrated eagerness to grow in specialized areas such as HVAC and plumbing
  • Ability to work well under supervision and promote collaborate within the team
  • Experience reading and following basic diagrams and schematics
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks such as squatting, reaching, climbing, standing for extended periods, and safely lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Demonstrated ability balancing multiple tasks, while consistently emphasizing safety and supporting team efforts
