Job Description

As an Information Technology Specialist (Systems Analysis) with the Intelligent Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software to support the Center’s Intelligent Adaptive Systems core competency. You will lead the creation of software and tools that cover the full spectrum of research, design, and development phases, as well as project implementation and operation phases on flight missions.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining software for efficient and safe operation of spacecraft, aircraft, engineered, or information systems;
  2. Providing oversight of training objectives, plans, and processes for the operation of spacecraft, aircraft, engineered, or information systems;
  3. Troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving the occurrence of anomalies in the operation of spacecraft, aircraft, engineered, or information systems.

IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
