This position is in our corporate headquarters in Tustin, CA location and require you to be a onsite Monday through Thursday, with a remote option on Friday.

**Responsibilities**

This position is with the Avionics Mechanical Design Engineering group
The Avionics team is looking for an intern who is enthusiastic with a willingness to learn mechanical engineering connections in an electrical environment
This individual would be part of a dynamic avionics engineering team
This candidate will need to effectively collaborate with multiple disciplines such as interiors, airframe, and avionics design
The scope of your role includes flight avionics hardware, LRUs, and flight instrumentation.

**Required Skills and Experience**

+ Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s/master’s degree (required) in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.

+ Basic Understanding of Static loads

+ Know how to use a 3D Design tool (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, Unigraphics)

+ Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.

+ Must be a US citizen, or national, current US permanent resident holder.

+ Must possess strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.

+ Strong interest in commercial space flight

The annual U.S
base salary range for this full-time position is $41,600.00-$55,640.00
The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity
Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered
