Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Coordinator at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, you will be responsible for supporting production, monitoring, tracking, and moving WIP / parts as required through the production flow to ensure on-time delivery to schedule. This role will require the ability to work the first or second shift depending on business needs.
This position’s internal job code is Material Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for Grade 18.
Responsibilities
- Processes, tracks and moves work orders, parts and other materials through the production flow and other locations to support the flow of production and schedule.
- Coordinate the physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock rooms, purchasing, production resources, or any applicable work center.
- Ensure parts are handled and protected properly.
- Perform de-kitting operations and own the return to stock process.
- Support projects or productivity development activities within assigned production cells.
- Support assigned production cells with work order management activities as required.
- Assist production teams in corrective actions.
- Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Provide internal customer service and communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Trains others on processes or operations they are familiar with.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of experience supporting administrative processes related to aerospace and/or manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Previous experience with production scheduling, inventory, and manufacturing

Summary Pay-Range
- Grade 18: $22.59/hr – $33.81/hr
