Job Description
The Procurement Administrator is responsible for supporting procurement activities by managing supplier data/information, managing our supply chain service center, and ensuring the seamless flow of procurement operations. The Procurement Administrator works closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with company policies while contributing to cost-efficiency and operational excellence in procurement functions.
Responsibilities
- Onboard and maintain supplier data within the company’s procurement system, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Maintain procurement databases and records, providing reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and procurement metrics as needed.
- Ensure procurement practices align with company financial policies, including monitoring budget spend and seeking cost-saving opportunities.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the supply chain service center.
- Assist the procurement manager, commodity managers, and buyers with processing site visit requests.
- Support he onboarding and offboarding of service agreement providers.
- Provide administrative support to procurement leadership, including preparing documents, and presentations, as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Ability to document work in progress and maintain effective records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), as well as the ability to learn and use multiple applications specific to this function
Preferred Skills and Experiences
- A general understanding of Aerospace procurement processes.
- Experience using Oracle or ERP/MRP, Agile or 3DX PLM
- Experience in a buyer role
The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $47,840.00–$66,560.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
