Job Summary
The Millennium Program Controls Manager is responsible for developing, training direct reports, helping to lead company process initiatives, and ensuring Millennium Best Practices and Standards (examples include: Accounting system requirements, EVMS, and EAC/Financial reporting requirements) are understood and being followed. Specific responsibilities include management and guidance of all early/mid-career Financial Analyst staff, in day to day program execution cost operations. This position is required to be on site at least 3 days per week and has direct reports.
This position’s internal job code is Financial Analyst. Our team is currently hiring for level K.
Responsibilities
- Train on cost fundamentals (Examples include: Distributed EAC, EVMS, MR, Baselining, CDRL reporting, Key Terms, trend analysis, etc.)
- Ensure Programs are operating in accordance with Millennium Best Practices and Policies, including but not limited to, the applicable EVMS Level designation requirements. Implement and support ongoing development of Cobra, dashboards, internal audits and MS Project.
- Help review/audit monthly data going out to internal and external customers (examples: PMR, CDRLs, etc.)
- Help maintain Program Cost documentation, templates and best practices (examples: WAD, BCRs, MR Log, Budget Log, etc.)
- Support development and control of historical integrated company cost and schedule databases
- Support quarterly EAC and profitability analysis and monitor company data
- Create and maintain the MSS Fiscal Calendar
- Work closely with the Director of Project Controls, Scheduling Peer Team Lead, Portfolio Business Managers, CFO, Financial Planning & Cost Estimating Peer Team Lead, and Principal EVM Architect
- Participate and lead key customer (internal and external) discussions
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with cost and schedule integration
- 7+ years of experience using program controls costing tools
- 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
- 7+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing others (including those who may not be your direct reports)
- Experience in managing others
- Experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
- Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking virtual environment
- Experience in producing and presenting presentations at the Leadership level
- Active security clearance or the ability to get a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Experience in building program cost reporting tools

Summary Pay-Range
- Level K: $114, 750 – $168,750
