About us
NASA Gymnastics is a small, family-oriented gymnastics facility located in Gig Harbor, WA. We are customer-centric, rewarding and fun. NASA has been a staple in the community since it opened in 1981.
While we are a gymnastics facility, our main goals are to provide a safe and fun environment for gymnasts to learn the basics and fall in love with the sport. We focus on proper form to execute skills safely and learn appropriate progressions to continually improve athlete performance.
We offer preschool (18 months – 5.5 years), recreational (5.5 years+), and competitive JO (on a try-out basis) classes.

Gymnastics Coach
Duties:
- Instruct and lead gymnastics classes for students of various ages and skill levels with a positive and excited attitude
- Implement lesson plans that focus on skill development, technique, and safety
- Provide individualized coaching and feedback to help students improve their gymnastics abilities
- Demonstrate proper form and technique for gymnastics skills
- Ensure the safety of all students by enforcing gym rules and proper spotting techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized gymnasium environment
Skills:
- Experience working with students in a coaching or teaching capacity (required)
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and progressions (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
Note: Experience or knowledge in childcare, physical education, or behavior management is a plus.

Pay: From $16.28 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
