Job Summary
The Senior Product Security Engineer is responsible for guiding the development, implementation, and maintenance of product security and resilience throughout the entire lifecycle—from requirements and design to build, test, production, operations, and support
This leadership role involves enhancing system requirements and architectures to ensure product security compliance with relevant certifications and customer specifications
The engineer also oversees the security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used at various stages of the product lifecycle.
Additionally, the Senior Product Security Engineer takes the lead in defining and identifying security requirements for suppliers contributing components and subsystems to complex products and services
The role includes coordinating with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to identify and address risks, while also working towards improving industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems.
Furthermore, the engineer leads research and development activities aimed at producing innovative solutions
They play a pivotal role in advising customers on maintaining product security and certification, including assessing the security implications of modifying products and services
This multifaceted leadership position emphasizes the continuous development, implementation, and sustainability of product security measures across the entire product lifecycle.

Our team is currently hiring for level 4-5.
Responsibilities
• Support mission and product level security requirements definition, implementation, verification, and validation for space systems
• Work with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to develop new processes and procedures for enhanced cybersecurity implementations at both the product and system level
• Work with the business development team on developing compliant proposals that meet customer cybersecurity needs for space systems
• Develop threat assessment models and tailored approaches to counter them
• Lead customer interactions on product and system level cybersecurity for space systems
• Develop presentation content and brief customers on Millennium product security approaches
Minimum Qualifications
• B.S
in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or other relevant fields
• 5+ years experience of experience
• Technical understanding of SV avionics architectures
• Technical understanding of SV flight software architectures to include embedded Linux
• Technical understanding of product cybersecurity features to include root of trust, secure boot, etc.
• Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Methodical design, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities
• Must be versatile and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with cryptography and Anti-Tamper design knowledge
• Experience working with TEMPEST designs
• Experience with DoD RMF controls implementation
• 10+ years experience working product security
• TS/SCI clearance

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay-Range
Level 4: $146,200 – $215,000
Level 5: $175,950 – $258,750
