Minimum Requirements:
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in large-scale space systems integration and systems engineering on space vehicles, OPIR payloads, and TT&C subsystems.
  • 3+ years of experience working on a space-related (space, ground, software, hardware system) Major Defense Acquisition Program.
  • Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, and inter-service support agreements.
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission.
Nice If You Have:
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP).
  • Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems.
  • Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
Work Location: El Segundo area (commutable distance to HQ SSC and/or Booz Allen’s El Segundo office). Hybrid work permitted – mix of on-site & off-site.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$81,000.00 – $135,000.00 annually.
