Summary

The Science Mission Directorate (SMD) at NASA Headquarters is seeking a skilled individual to serve as the Administrative Deputy Branch Chief, supervising a team providing cross-cutting support in strategy development and implementation, workforce management, IT, infrastructure, procurement, and action tracking to SMD’s technical and other divisions.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. GS-15: To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Managing a team providing recommendations and solutions to senior leadership on strategy, workforce, information technology and office policy and operations; Managing multiple high visibility initiatives at the request of senior leadership and in close coordination and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders; Collaborating across departmental lines with various business administration units (i.e., human resources, IT, finance, facility operations, logistics, etc.) on crosscutting enterprise actions and functions.
