- Provide support and risk advice to production, maintenance, technical, project or program personnel
- Integrate your deliverable work and the work of your peers into the process flow and design development of the Program
Required Skills and Experience
- B.S. or M.S. degree in an Engineering discipline, Mathematics, or Physics from an accredited university
- General knowledge of Systems Engineering development lifecycles
- General knowledge of software development practices and design assurance methods such as DO-178 or ARP4754 preferred
- General knowledge of electronic hardware design assurance methods such as DO-254 preferred
- Previous exposure to FAA commercial space regulations preferred, CFR §400.
- Exposure to the system safety methods of ARP4761 or MIL-STD-882, with emphasis on hazard mitigation processes
- Basic knowledge of fault tree modeling software to model complex systems including mechanical, electrical, and software integrated systems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical engineering drawings, to include schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in aerospace or system safety field
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and written communication skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Works following guidance from established team processes and leadership.
The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $72,500.00–$105,200.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
