Lead Financial Analyst

As a Lead Financial Analyst at Astranis, you will engage in a diverse array of FP&A and corporate finance duties. This is your chance to be part of a lean Finance team where your contributions will have an immediate effect in our rapidly growing startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets for engineering programs, taking full ownership of cash forecasting scenarios.
• Pricing and Strategy: Own the cost and pricing models that guide our bids for government contracts and commercial agreements.
• FinOps: Assist in setting up and managing various financial systems, tackling tasks of all sizes as business needs arise.
• Reporting: Enhance the company's financial reporting, metrics, dashboards, and analyses that directly influence daily operations, including budget versus actual performance and monthly flux analysis.
• Investor Relations: Regularly interface with investors to provide updated financial information and ownership audits.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years in investment banking coupled with at least 1 year of experience in a startup environment.
• Exceptional modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of three-statement models.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaboratively work within a diverse team and drive cross-functional change.
• A systematic thinker capable of building and maintaining automated processes that enhance our operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical skills that allow you to create these programs independently.
• Experience working on U.S. government projects.

Our pay ranges are guided by professional salary surveys and compensation data. The exact base salary for successful candidates will be influenced by various factors, including experience, credentials, skills, and the scope of the role.

Base Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 USD
