u003cpu003eAs a Material Handler, you will be responsible for providing logistical support for the movement, storage, control and protection of raw materials, supplies, work in process products and finished products. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment and decision-making abilities, and the ability to multitask. u0026nbsp;Excellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of raw materials used in the assembly / manufacturing of aerospace vehicles.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu003cbu003eResponsibilitiesu003c/bu003eu003c/pu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eInspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eResponsible for inbound receiving. Accurately receive all inbound deliveries into ERP system and maintain records of all receipts in compliance with VG requirements.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eVisually monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to buyers, schedulers, and others as necessary.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eComplete inventory transactions to receive and issue inventory as required.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eOperate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to proper locations and load / offload freight trucks as required.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAssure FIFO and material identification are maintainedu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eProperly identify and locate all parts according to established proceduresu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eMaintain accurate inventory, performing cycle counting, and physical inventory of stock and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003ePerform accurate transactions in ERP system for issuing materials to appropriate cost center projects u0026amp; ensuring proper authorization is received for high-cost materialsu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eVerify all incoming documentation and applicable certifications are correctu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eResponsible for timely delivery of all packages that include stock and non-stock items.
